I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, and absolutely adore the California lifestyle! I love the diversity of San Diego; you can go from polished and sophisticated to a leisurely and easy going lifestyle. I am a very energetic person and enjoy the energy of Diesel Salon. Our constant education and continuous endeavor to be on top of trends help me to consistently learn more!! At Diesel Salon, our clientele is a wide range of personalities, thus giving me the ability to specialize in all areas and the latest crazes. I would love the opportunity to help you look great for a vivacious night out on the town or an everyday “urbanity beach look” by matching you with the perfect color, cut, or style.
I have been part of the Diesel team for three years and have grown immensely as a stylist. I pride myself on education and staying with progression in styles so that I am able to give my clients the look they desire. I have completed an extensive one on one training course in color theory and technique with a top L’Oréal color educator as well as taken courses at the DiPietro Todd Salon in San Francisco. I specialize in balayage as one of my favorite color techniques. I have also traveled to New York to the House of Bumble and have taken an extensive cutting class as well as learning cutting techniques from the lead stylist/salon owner. As well as being a Great Lengths certified stylist, I pride myself in giving you natural, long lasting extensions. Please call anytime for a FREE consultation.

The first time she cut my hair I was ready for a major change – took off about 8 inches. I arrived at my appointment with more ideas about what I DIDN’T want, than what I DID want, but Telima was very patient listening to my ideas and made suggestions for my hair type. She was very conservative and didn’t go too short with my cut. In fact, I was back in 3 weeks ready to go shorter since I liked the change so much. Telima fixed me up with products designed to enhance the natural curve and curl of my hair, but after trying to do that for a week and a half, I gave up. Too much work for not that much “look”. Diesel allowed me to exchange some of the product I bought – a customer service feature for which I am very grateful. I’m also really happy with the color that Telima created for me – its more “me” to cover up the grays, with just a few very natural looking highlights. No one has even asked if I colored my hair, just comments that it looks really cute. I like Diesel and have recommended it to a few friends for the ease of scheduling, the customer service and the quality work of their stylists.
Telima is THE BEST hair stylist/colorist in San Diego! Not only is she SUPER TALENTED, but she is also very funny and super sweet!! Telima did work on my hair; highlights, lowlights and cut. She couldn’t have been more professional and friendly throughout the entire two sessions. Extensions are next on the list. Telima has my customer loyalty for as long as she stays in the hair profession. I highly recommend her to everyone!
Telima did my hair and some of my Bridesmaids hair, for my wedding. She did such an amazing job, it held up for over 8 hours without any touching up. Not only is she awesome at an Up-do, but she is great with color as well. Telima is awesome! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair but her. When I first came to her my hair was jet black, dry, and generally unhealthy. Some how she nursed it back to health while still changing my color to blonde. Not only is she super talented, she is really sweet and is very passionate about her craft. I would recommend her to anyone!!
